⏳ 𝙰𝚛𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝙰𝙶𝙰𝙸𝙽𝚂𝚃 𝚘𝚛 𝙵𝙾𝚁 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏?

Here we are at Week Two of 2024! Woohoo! 🎉

Around this time of year we often think about the passage of time, where we are from a year ago, where we want to be in a year’s time.

Maybe you want to start a new career/business, improve your relationship with your partner, feel better in your body, be a more calm and present parent, or something else.

🎯 Setting goals is a crucial part of moving ourselves forward on our path.

Yet in focusing on changing the big goals and patterns, we miss the underlying reasons and patterns that are actually running everything we do.

And when it comes to creating big change it all starts with changing what we do in the small pockets of time we have with ourselves.

In reality if you start looking around you’ll see that you spend much more time with yourself than you might think - before your day starts, on your daily commute, during work, as you’re going through any routines, or after your kids go to bed.

The time we have with ourselves is the most undervalued and underrated time. Yet it’s what creates the fabric of our life.

Everything in your reality is created within you.

And when you want to make any change it always begins from within.

If you want to create any long-lasting change in any area of your life in 2024, look at how you spend the time you have with yourself.

Are you using the time you have alone AGAINST yourself or FOR yourself?

Using your time AGAINST yourself looks like:

  • mindless scrolling

  • following and taking in content that triggers, angers or upsets you

  • letting others’ priorities and time take over your own

  • letting your thoughts drift into comparison, guilt, regret, worry, shame and blame*

*𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙪𝙨

While using it FOR yourself looks like:

  • intentionally choosing what you watch, follow and invest in based on your

  • taking time to be with yourself without distractions

  • being curious and open about your needs, desires, and dreams

  • being kind to yourself in the hard moments, or when things don’t work out the way you want

If there’s something that you’re experiencing that’s different from what you want, look where you’re not loving and accepting yourself and where have you stopped being curious to your needs and desires.

Wishing you a beautiful, joyful and adventurous 2024!

Much love,

Stani
