What does being fearless mean to you?

For some people, like my 2-year-old daughter, fearless is being able to take a bath! (I know, right? #toddlerproblems)

After almost a week, she finally overcame her fear of what turned out to be the scary roar of the running bath water and willingly took a bath.

This got me thinking about what it means to be fearless.

From toddlerhood on our entire lives consist of overcoming one fear after another, so being fearless becomes our full-time job.

What I realized recently is that there are two ways to be fearless.

The first one is the one we’re very familiar with - you build up courage to play in front of an audience, take auditions, do competitions, and show up in all the ways that you're expected to.

The second type is more introspective: considering what truly brings you joy, why you want to do what you do, what is truly important to you.

The first one requires permission from others, while the second one ONLY requires permission from yourself! What will you discover if you decide to be fearless? Try asking these questions: - What makes me unique and different from others in my field?  - What do I want to do that would truly bring me joy? - What is important to me? Once you answer these questions give yourself permission to follow up. Treat the answers the same way you would advice from the people you trust most - your dearest friends, your parents, your teachers, your coach. What is that experience like for you? Hit Reply and share your thoughts and discoveries with me!  You have infinite wisdom inside you, and it's waiting for you to give it permission to speak! Best, Stani
